Ph.D students from Poland will spend EU sponsored internships in our department.

Ms. Justyna Nagaj and Ms. Kamila Stokowa-Soltys, the third year doctorate students of Bioinorganic and Biomedical Chemistry at University of Wroclaw, Poland, are visiting FIU on a three-month internship program founded by the European Union.

The project goal is the "Development of potential and educational offer of University of Wroclaw as a chance to increase the competitiveness of the University". The purpose of their internships is to gain skills useful to carry out research and teaching, exchange experience in the field of education methods and techniques, and to establish scientific cooperation and improve the educational workshop. Justyna and Kamila will also perform research on the synthesis of novel anti-quorum sensing agents in the laboratory of Professor Stanislaw F. Wnuk.
