A unique opportunity for undergraduate students from Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Engineering to perform research in the nuclear field and receive a tuition credit of $4,844 per year


Prerequisites:

  • Full-time undergraduate student status
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident

Students with a demonstrated interest in nuclear research/nuclear careers and who have taken or plan ton taking nuclear- related courses such as “Radiochemistry" or Radiation Detection And Measurement are preferred.

Undergraduate students who accept this scholarship are obligated to sign the NRC scholarship program service agreement that requires either 6 months of nuclear-related employment per year of scholarship with a Federal or State Agency, a DOE laboratory, company, or graduate enrollment post-graduation.
