Instructor –Forensic/General Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida International University invites applications to fill a full-time, permanent instructor position starting in August 2016. The position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry and experience teaching undergraduates. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching. Duties will include lectures in Forensic Chemistry and General Chemistry, as well as other lower division chemistry courses, coordination of laboratory courses, and supervision of teaching assistants. The development of online/hybrid course offerings is expected, in addition to teaching courses in a traditional face-to-face format.
