On Friday, Sept. 2nd, 2011, Dr. Adam Veige, of the Univertsity of Florida. will present a seminar to graduate students enrolled in CHM6935 entitled, "Trianionic pincer ligands: synthesis of an elusive µ-oxo dimer [CrIV]2(µ-O) and its role in autocatalytic O2 cleavage and oxygen atom transfer (OAT).

On Friday, April 8th, 2011 at 11am , Dr. Helen Tepest, of the FIU School of Medicine, will present a seminar to graduate students enrolled in CHM 6935. The title of the seminar is "To err (meiotically) is human."

Dr. Andrew Knight of the Florida Institute of Technology will present a seminar on Wednesday, April 6th at 11am in AHC2-170 . The seminar is entitled, "Biological Applications of Cobalt(III) Complexes: From Artificial Endonucleases to Antimicrobial Drugs."

Dr. Raphael Raptis, of the University of Puerto Rico, will present a seminar on Monday, April 4th at 11am in the Wertheim Conservatory WC130. The title of the seminar is "Octanuclear Iron-Oxo-Pyrazolate Clusters; Possible Metalloprotein Models and MRI Contrast Agents."
