Dr. Lee Ferguson, of Duke University, will visit FIU on October 17, 2014 to present a seminar entitled, "Fate and Effects of Organic Micropollutant Mixtures in Coastal Stormwater Retention Ponds Impacted by Runoff From a Wastewater-Irrigated Golf Course."

Dr. Edenir Rodrigues Pereira Filho, of the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, will present a seminar on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 3pm, entitled, "Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS)and chemometric tools: improving data interpretation in analytical chemistry applications"as part of the IFRI Forensic Science Seminar Series.

Dr. Song Gao, of NOVA Southeastern University, will visit FIU to present a seminar to students enrolled in CHM6935 as part of the graduate seminar series. The seminar is entitled, Atmospheric Aerosols, Global Climate Change, and Urban Air Pollution."
